WPT Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond Tournament

Just got done with the Doyle Brunson's 5 Diamond Classic at the Bellagio two days ago. It was a total dissapointment the last day. I had a lot of chips... started the day 4th in chips. But, I never won a hand when we got down to the last 54 on Day 4. I played two major pots where I had AK and flopped a King against KQ ...

2010 Main Event Day 1D

Well I made it through Day 1! It was not the greatest start for me yesterday. I lost a good amount of chips early on in day. I was flopping hands here and there, but it was just not going my way for a while. I was down to my last 7k at one point. My daughter kept sending me encouraging text messages all day to not give up! I didn't either! Some times I get a little impatient.

2010 WSOP OVERVIEW

Well, this years World Series has not had much to brag about. I never made a Day 2 in any of the smaller events... and made a couple Day 2's in the 5k and higher events. I have not had the results I try for every year.

WPT High Roller event @ Grand Prix de Prix, Aviation Club de France

I flew to France as usual, because I can't miss a single tournament that goes on at the Aviation Club. As I've mentioned before I love the Aviation Club. There's always good cash games, great food, and all around great people. I played the WPT Grand Prix event, but had no luck.

On my way to Paris

I am jumping on a flight to Paris today, getting ready to play the Grand Prix de Paris. Paris is one of my favorite cities, and so is the Aviation club. It's a beauitful casino, great food, and the best hospitality. Plus the games are always juicy! What else could you ask for as a poker player? I am getting there a few days earlier than the main event to rest up, and enjoy the cash games.

LAPC

After having a pretty good run over in Europe with the cash games and the tournament circuit, I took a 12 hour flight back to LA trying to keep the run going at LAPC. But, things didn't work out so well there. I didn't win a single hand. I some how managed to sneak into Day 2 with 5k in chips, but busted  pretty quickly.

The Last 30 years...

I have been a poker player for over 30 years. So, trust me I have seen a lot of hands, and played with a lot of people in my days at the tables. I've decided for my blog I am going to take you back to the beginning! Let you into my world so you can see what my life has really been like.
